1 Stick fighting. A woman’s boyfriend was charged with assault after he ran at one of his girlfriends’ male friends while waving a weapon called an escrima stick outside their home in the 17300 block of East Adriatic Drive. The suspect said he just didn’t want the victim near him Aug. 20, so he used the stick to push him in a bush.

2 Dumped on Parker Road. A Denver woman’s Subaru was stolen from her home and dumped at the bottom of the Interstate 225 ramp to northbound Parker Road on Aug. 21. Officers found the car blocking traffic with its radio going and right turn signal flashing. The steering column and ignition were broken.

3 Tree trimmer. Police were called to the 21000 block of East Eastman Drive because a man came home and found his neighbor in his backyard, cutting the branches on his trees Aug. 18. The two neighbors had disputed the length of the branches in the past. The woman was cited.

4 Bumper bullets. A security guard for the Anheuser-Busch Distribution Center at 19755 E. 35th Drive called police Aug. 18 after he heard about 14 gunshots fired somewhere in the area. A manager in the building later discovered that all of the shots went into his bumper, windshield and hood. There are no suspects.

5 Wild shooting. Several people in the 11300 block of East 16th Street heard five gunshots Aug. 22. Police found a bullet hole in a woman’s car, and another one in man’s bedroom. The male victim said the bullet went through his screen door, his TV screen and his bedroom wall before landing on the bed.
