1 Man hit while walking with niece. A man was assaulted on Aug. 26 while walking his niece to school in the 5500 block of Eagle Street (not on map). The victim told Denver Police he was approached by the suspect, who began to argue with him. The suspect then struck him in the face and fled on foot.

2 Cellphone stolen. On Aug. 27, a woman called Denver police to report that a coworker stole her phone from the bathroom in the 7000 block of East Sandown Road. The victim said she left her cell phone charging in the women’s bathroom when her coworker came out and told the victim she had left her charger in the bathroom. The victim saw that her phone was gone. The coworker was the only other person to enter the bathroom.

3 Man fights in parking lot, goes to 7-Eleven. A man was arrested on Sept. 1 after he was involved in a fight in the parking lot of 7-Eleven, 7675 E. Colfax Ave. After the fight, the suspect entered the store and began throwing items all over the store, causing damage.

4 Guns at Dandy Dan’s. On Aug. 29, Denver Police responded to a report of guns at Dandy Dan’s Gentleman’s Club, 214 S. Federal Blvd. Police located a suspect threatening another male in the parking lot. The suspect tried to gain entry without ID and punched an employee in the face.

5 Another strip club incident. On Aug. 29, Denver police responded to PT’s Show Club, 1601 W. Evans Ave., on a report of a man trying to start fights. The suspect was intoxicated and was detained by staff until police arrived.
