1 Suspicious greeting card. A resident of the 20000 block of Gigi Road reported a suspicious piece of mail she received Aug. 25. The mail was a greeting card that suggested romantic actions involving whipped cream and handcuffs. It had the addressee’s address in the return label but was postmarked Denver. The reporting party did not have any idea who may have sent it.

2 Shifty suspect. Jeffco Sheriff’s deputies went to the Colorado Children’s Theater, 3727 Evergreen Parkway, Evergreen,on Aug. 25 on a report of a suspicious male who was drinking from something concealed in a paper bag and appeared to be touching his genitals. He was found to be intoxicated and said he was homeless and slept behind the building there. He was taken to a detoxification facility and released.

3 She came in through the window. A man reported Aug. 25 that his ex-girlfriend knocked on his front door in the 3000 block of Forest Way, Evergreen and when he went to a window to tell her to leave, she climbed through the window. He said she made a cocktail and after a nap, he asked her again to leave. When she refused yet again, he called the police. She left before they arrived.

4 Trailer park fight. Jeffco deputies responded to a disturbance in the 1700 block of County Road 126, Pine, (not on map) on Aug. 27. Aa husband went to his sister’s trailer following a domestic dispute and when he returned, he threw beer bottles around his own trailer. There was no physical harm to the husband or his wife. They were advised to find better ways to settle arguments.
