A suspect who stole an unmarked police car in August has been arrested, Denver police announced on Wednesday.
Ravi Anthony Guerrero, 39, is being held for investigation of motor vehicle aggravated theft, second-degree assault and menacing with a deadly weapon.
Guerrero was suspected of a , when he allegedly fled the scene on foot, only to circle back and steal an officer’s unmarked car.
Police pursued the stolen vehicle, a gold Chrysler 300, and issued an alert, saying that there was a shotgun inside.
The car was recovered later that evening in the 4600 block of West 6th Avenue. The weapon in the vehicle was also recovered.
