Adams County prosecutors on Wednesday said they will charge an 18-year-old with first-degree murder in that left a 14-year-old boy dead and another teen wounded.
James Jason Tobias Lee also faces charges of second-degree assault, attempted first-degree murder after deliberation and two counts of attempted first-degree murder with extreme indifference.
The Sept. 2 shooting, outside the Fitzsimons Apartments at 1568 Nome St., left Marcell Jay Johnson dead, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office said in a news release.
A 17-year-old boy who was shot in the arm survived.
Lee is scheduled to be advised of the charges against him Thursday morning.
