
“Marvel’s Jessica Jones” will be premiering on Netflix on Nov. 20, Marvel announced Thursday.
The series follows Jones, played by Krysten Ritter (Chloe from “Breaking Bad”), a former superhero who becomes a private investigator in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen. Her past life, however, comes back to haunt her. David Tennant (“Doctor Who”), Mike Colter (“The Good Wife”) and Carrie-Anne Moss (“The Matrix”) also star on the show.
Marvel also released the first teaser for the show. :
The show is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which includes the “Avengers” movies. It is part of the company’s push to create original series on Netflix. “Marvel’s Daredevil” was . “Marvel’s Luke Cage” will debut in 2016. Planned titles for the future include “Marvel’s Defenders” and “Marvel’s Iron Fist.”
