A man was shot in northwest Denver on Monday evening.
The shooting happened near the intersection of West 44th Avenue and Tejon Street, according to a Denver Police Department Twitter post about 7:10 p.m.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, police said.
Information on a suspect was not immediately released.
