A bus struck a pedestrian in west Denver Tuesday afternoon and the pedestrian was seriously injured, police said.
The incident happened near the intersection of West Alameda and Federal Boulevard, according to a Denver Police Department tweet.
The tweet was posted about 6:15 p.m.
All lanes of southbound Federal were shut down by the incident.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
