
Two men are dead after a single vehicle rollover crash in Aurora early Wednesday morning, officials said.
The Aurora Police and Fire Departments responded to the crash at the 3100 block of North Peoria Street around 1 a.m., according to an Aurora Police Department news release.
When police arrived, they found a silver 1995 Nissan Pathfinder that had run off the road and into construction.
Two men were ejected from the vehicle and taken to a local hospital.
One man died at the hospital earlier Wednesday morning, and the second victim died at the hospital early Wednesday afternoon.
One man has been identified, but his information is being withheld until the victim’s family is notified.
The other victim has not been identified.
Police said that neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt, which led to their ejection from the vehicle.
Investigators were not initially able to determine why the vehicle ran off the road, and the investigation remains ongoing.
