Getting your player ready...

Whether you need to move right away in a market without enough homes for sale, or you’re planning your move a year ahead, Meritage Homes is creating a moment-in-time opportunity today: A chance to buy homes that are ready now or near-ready, at thousands of dollars off their list price; or to pick a site for super-energy efficient home built from scratch, and take half off the site premium.

If you’ve been shopping for new homes, you know that site premiums are a big deal – a major factor that bumps the cost of a home up over the base price, in return for getting into an area in special demand, or that has views or some other attraction. As part of Meritage’s ‘Top Secret’ sales event, if you pick a lot out and contract before Oct. 1, you can take half off that premium up to $10,000.

That could save you quite a few bucks in a community like Flatiron Meadows in the Boulder County part of Erie, where Meritage has moved into new sites that have been popular for their access to Boulder and Boulder Valley Schools. You can tour the models today, pick a lot, and visit an ‘Energy Information Center’ that shows how much Meritage has done to make all of its homes more energy efficient in its insulation technology, lighting and other factors.

Meanwhile, if you’re house-hunting in this low-inventory market, you’ll find three homes in Flatiron Meadows that are ready to go now, at up to $15,000 of their list price. That’s true at 2266 Front Range Road, where a 4-bedroom/3-bath plan with 3,607 square feet finished plus a 3-car garage was $601,597 last week. Today it’s $586,597.

Meritage has been out in front in getting homes ready for this fall at its 13 communities up and down the Front Range. You’ll find homes ready or near-ready now, all at big discounts, in Inspiration in Aurora, a new neighborhood close to pine forest, with great views; at The Preserve in Brighton, a very popular area off Telluride Street north of 160th; at Fallbrook Farms near York and 144th in Thornton; at Leyden Rock in west Arvada, with award-winning Jeffco schools; and at West Grange in Longmont – very close to Boulder, and walking distance to very good schools.
Meanwhile, up in Northern Colorado, Meritage has a range of homes coming ready now, for the market around Fort Collins and Windsor – each super-popular for attractive small town settings. You’ll find homes ready to go in Fort Collins’ Kechter Crossing and Mail Creek neighborhoods, close to the Harmony Road high-tech corridor, as well as at Timnath Ranch, just east of I-25 along Harmony; and at Rigden Farm, close to Fort Collins’ historic downtown and university district. And you’ll find homes set to go in Water Valley in Windsor, in a neighborhood with a 36-hole golf course and loads lakes and trails.

If your world is centered along south I-25 near DTC, Meridian or other business campuses, Meritage is offering a last chance to buy a home in Sierra Ridge in Parker at Phase I pricing. Sierra Ridge has been extremely popular all year, for its ideal commuting situation, schools, and planned amenities. Last chance at current pricing from $400,990 is Sept. 30. Models are just south of Lincoln on Chambers.

You’ll find maps of all communities, and details on homes ready now, at MeritageHomes.com.
