Brazilian midfielder Kaka of was the league’s top earner at $7.16 million. He was one of 22 players who will take home more than $1 million in guaranteed compensation in 2015, including the Kevin Doyle. was the top-spending club in MLS, out-spending by a final tally of $22.1 million to $21.2 million. The Rapids came in at 17th in team payroll with $5.05 million.
