1 Officers stop fight. On Sept. 16, two Denver police officers came upon two men fighting in the 1400 block of Logan Street. The officers separated the men, one of whom stated he was attempting to teach the other a lesson. The other man admitted to losing the fight. Both were cited for public fighting.

2 Suspect tries to steal bike. A man called Denver police Sept. 18 after a suspect attempted to steal his bike in the 2200 block of Lawrence Street. The victim was an at-risk adult and was pushed to the ground, but managed to call police. The suspect was apprehended.

3 Man refuses to be carjacked. On Sept. 19, a man called Denver police after a suspect tried to steal his car from him and his wife outside the Athmar Park Recreation Center, 2680 W. Mexico Way. The victim said the suspect approached and demanded he get out of his car. The victim refused and the suspect opened the car door and punched the man. After failing to pull him out of the car, the suspect fled.

4 Drunken man refuses to leave. A man called Denver police Sept. 19 after another man punched him at his home and refused to leave. Police responded to 9900 block of East Exposition Avenue and discovered the suspect lying on furniture on the porch.

5 Disturbance at Wing Stop. On Sept. 20, Denver police responded to an incident at Wing Stop, 757 E. 20th Ave., involving customers harassing staff. The manager told Denver police that three males came in and began causing a disturbance by throwing things. One staff member was hit in the face by an empty plastic cup.
