1 From bad to worse. A woman who was going to get ticketed for an open container Sept. 19 began yelling and throwing items as she got on an RTD bus near West Colfax Avenue and Kendall Street in Lakewood. Police arrested her on a disorderly conduct charge.
2 Disturbance at drug den. Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Depew Street in Lakewood on Sept. 17 on reports of a fight. Officers heard two women screaming and detained one of them when she ran out of the house. Drug pipes and baggies with residue were found on the woman, who was ticketed.
3 Day drinking. Police arrested a man for DUI on Sept. 18 after he was seen passed out in a parked car with the engine running at the Shell Station at 11203 W. Colfax Ave. in Lakewood.
4 Bike stolen. An employee of Best Buy at 3849 S. Wadsworth Blvd. in Lakewood told police Sept. 11 someone had stolen her $1,000 bike she had locked in front of the store.
5 Domestic violence. A woman opened the front door to her home in the 1400 block of Kendall Street in Lakewood on Sept. 16 to see her ex-boyfriend standing there. He demanded to get the rest of his clothes before punching her in the face. He was arrested on multiple charges.
6 Bus stop trouble. Police arrested a man at a bus stop near West Colfax Avenue and Kendall Street in Lakewood on Sept. 17 for assault and violating a protection order.
