Can we all agree that the traffic in Denver is atrocious? It doesn’t help that most radio stations play the same music, the same song, constantly.
The exception is the new kid on the FM dial, OpenAir. A longstanding beacon in the political pundit-heavy wasteland that is AM, OpenAir and hasn’t looked back.
OpenAir isn’t done adding value to the lives of Colorado citizens. The nonprofit station and Colorado Public Television joined forces for a second season of “OpenAir Live & Local” to add an extra element of Denver music to a stacked lineup that already includes “Austin City Limits” on PBS.
Season 2 starts at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 on CPT Channel 12, with a lineup that includes some of the heaviest hitters making noise in Colorado, including Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, In the Whale, Tennis, Ark Life, Paper Bird and many more.
