
1 Where’d it go wrong? A woman was arrested for punching her ex-boyfriend in the head and keying his truck Sept. 2. The pair had recently split and the woman wanted to retrieve her bike and passport. He insisted they meet in a store parking lot for the exchange. The woman, suspicious he had a new love interest, then drove to his house in the 2900 block of West Centennial Drive, Littleton, where the assault happened.
2 Bike stolen from closed garage. A man living in the 2300 block of West Jamison Way, Littleton, woke up Sept. 4 to find his $3,500 mountain bike had vanished from his garage. Someone cut the cable lock securing the bike to hooks in the ceiling. He did not know how anyone accessed the garage.
3 Courtyard commotion. Police responded to a reported fight between neighbors at an apartment building in the 5900 block of South Gallup Street, Littleton, on Sept. 5. One man said he was sitting on a bench in the courtyard when a neighbor who he has had problems with cursed at him and threw a punch, but missed. The neighbor claimed the man gave him a dirty look and that he was afraid of him. The neighbor had a mental disability. He was issued a ticket.
4 Young burglars sacked. Police responded to a burglary in progress in the 3200 block of South Washington Street, Englewood, on Sept. 15. They saw two male suspects running away. A 16-year-old was found hiding nearby and taken to a juvenile detention facility. The other man, an 18-year-old, fought with police before he was arrested and jailed.
