Through Sunday. There’s something poetic about the Denver Art Museum’s flower show fading away as the weather turns cold. “In Bloom” is surely a celebration of summer’s high season, bursting with still-life paintings of asters, tulips and daisies at their prime. But just as seasons change, so do museum walls — and the exhibit closes Sunday. Curated locally by DAM’s Angelica Daneo, the show pulls together a starry list of French superstar artists, among them Mary Cassat, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Pierre Bonnard. But other bouquets are delivered by painters who are equally revered, if not on the marquee, such as Gerard van Spaendonck and Jean Marie Reignier. There’s a $15 charge, but that gets you into the full museum. DAM, 100 W. 14th Ave. 720-865-5000 or .
