Vehicle crashes along Colorado’s northern Front Range claimed three lives late Sunday.

Colorado State Patrol troopers were investigating the circumstances.

North of metro Denver in Weld County, a man driving south on Interstate 25 died at the scene of a rollover crash shortly after sunset. He was the sole occupant. State Patrol spokesman Nate Reid said the right lane of southbound I-25 remained closed 90 minutes later.

In Larimer County near Campion, a woman driving north on I-25 died at the scene of a roll-over crash about two hours before sunset. She was the sole occupant of a Subaru, Reid said. It rolled onto a Frontage Road.

A two-vehicle crash in Larimer County near Laporte, at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Larimer County 54G, a female passenger died at the scene, Reid said. That intersection, too, was closed, he said, as investigators tried to piece together what happened.
