Christian Hyatt of Colorado Academy has committed verbally to play basketball at Colorado Christian University.
On Twitter, Hyatt stated: “Blessed and honored to announce my commitment to Colorado Christian University, and excited to join the CCU basketball family and for all of the good things to come.”
A Denver Metropolitan League first-team, all-conference player, Hyatt, also Class 3A second -team all-state by The Denver Post the past season, averaged 18.5 points as a Mustangs junior. He’s among the all-time leading scorers in school history with 1,205 points.
Colorado Academy has made the past two 3A title games, losing both by a total of four points. Steve Hyatt, Christian’s father, is head coach.
