Lakewood police have arrested two suspects in the armed robbery of a pawn shop Monday morning in which several guns were stolen.
Steve Davis, a police spokesman, said the robbery happened at a shop near the intersection of South Louisiana Boulevard and West Sheridan Boulevard.
Investigators say the suspects were masked.
Davis said officers flooded the area after the robbery and that at least one school was placed on lock-out status as a precaution. Denver police assisted in the initial response, authorities say.
Further information was not immediately available, Lakewood police said.
