The Zombies, Hinds and DIIV are our picks for the best Colorado shows this week. See you there, and if you don’t make it out, follow our music musings and our selfies . Oh, we have a Snapchat, too. Our name is HeyReverb. Hit us up.

The Zombies – Oct. 19, Paramount Theatre

Attention all 60’s psych rock fans: It’s the time of the season for a Zombies reunion. The Odessey & Oracle tour sees the band playing their landmark album of the same name from front to back, a feat they hadn’t accomplished prior to this string of dates. The breakthrough album was released just months after the band decided to call it quits in 1967. Though they’re without guitarist Paul Atkinson, who passed away in 2004, all surviving members of the band will come together for the historic performance at the Paramount Theatre. They aren’t all old news: The Zombies released a new album, “Still Got That Hunger,” just last week.

Tickets: $35 via .

Hinds – October 20, Larimer Lounge

Without an album to their name, this female garage-rock quartet has already won enough fans to merit a tour far away from their native Madrid. After releasing singles “Bamboo” and “Trippy Gum” online last year, Hinds were tapped by the likes of The Guardian and The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney as rising stars in the DIY scene. With nods to Thee Headcoats and The Black Lips, Hinds’ handful of songs cut pop-rock with a hefty dose of fuzz and a rascally punk mentality. But live and in their goofy music videos, aesthetic posturing never takes precedence over having a good time. These girls just wanna have fun, and so should you if you catch them next week at the Larimer Lounge. Tickets: $12-$14 via .

DIIV – Oct. 16, Gothic Theatre

Brooklyn’s DIIV comes to Denver bearing the sun-washed alt-rock you may have heard in modern brothers-in-arms like Wild Nothing and Smith Westerns. Denver fans remember the band’s headlining set at this year’s , where they broke off a few chunks of their yet-unreleased sophomore album, “Is The Is Are.” If the reported size of that album is any indication–two discs and eighteen tracks–their show this evening at the Gothic Theatre could make for a long night in the best way. Tickets: $18 via .
