
Denver police are searching for an “armed and dangerous” man wanted that left one person dead and another critically wounded.
Najib Abdinasir Mahamoud is suspected of first-degree murder in the shooting at the Spyglass Hill Apartments on the 7100 block of East Mississippi Avenue.
The shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Mahamoud is described as a black man, 6-feet 3-inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.
Police say the man killed in the shooting, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at a hospital. Authorities have not identified the man wounded.
Anyone with information on Mahamoud, or who sees him, is asked to call 911.
Investigators have not said what motivated the shooting.
