ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Friends and family of a Colorado high school graduate who was killed in a shooting at Northern Arizona University are remembering him for his uplifting personality and infectious smile.
Funeral services for Colin Brough were held Friday in Annapolis, Md.
David Brunk, who knew Brough from kindergarten in the Annapolis area where he grew up, says “he had an aura that just lifted the entire room.”
Brough attended Broadneck High School in Annapolis, where he played lacrosse. He graduated from Castle View High School in Castle Rock, Colo., in 2013.
Steven Jones, a freshman at Northern Arizona University, has been charged with second-degree murder in the campus shooting that injured three other students last week.
