Spooky Halloween
Head to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park for the Mountain Fall Festival through Oct. 31. The festival includes kids’ activities, a pumpkin patch and Oktoberfest food and drink specials. Spooky Halloween evenings will be held Oct. 23, 24, 30 and 31 from 6-9 p.m.; tickets required. Families can trick-or-treat, play Halloween games and go on a haunted cave tour. Monster’s Ball
The Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts will host the 3rd annual Monster’s Ball Halloween Bash on Oct. 31. The evening starts at 7 p.m. and includes music and dancing with Durango’s Jelly Belly Boogie Band, trick-or-treat drink specials and costume prizes. Tickets are $10 online or $15 (cash only) at the door.
Cider festival
The 4th annual Colorado Hard Cider Festival will be held at Delicious Orchards in Hotchkiss on Oct. 24. Enjoy live bluegrass, Americana and folk music while tasting ciders from the members of the Rocky Mountain Cider Association. Festival admission is free. Breckenridge opening day
Breckenridge Ski Resort kicks off the 2015/16 season with Opening Day on Nov. 13. Breckenridge celebrates their 53rd season with a live DJ on Peak 8, giveaways, special guests and EpicMix photographers taking pictures of skiers and snowboarders throughout the day.
