A gyrocopter piloted by an 80-year-old man tipped over at Meadow Lake Airport in El Paso County on Saturday morning.
The man was attempting to take off, but the aircraft tipped over before he got it off the ground, said El Paso County Sheriff spokeswoman Jacqueline Kirby.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
