Dale Turner is affectionately referred to by his family and friends as “Denver Dale.” He moved back to Colorado from California a decade ago to be closer to his beloved team, but never missed an opportunity to see the Broncos play in San Diego, or Oakland. He started collecting Broncos memorabilia when he was 11, in the 1960’s, because of his love for the Denver “D” logo. Growing up in the shadows of Bear Stadium, Denver Dale has never let anything, not even a colon cancer diagnosis three years ago, stop him from spending his Sundays with his football team.
