Chalkbeat Colorado discovered that Denver school board candidate Kristi Butkovich its questionnaire.
That’s called plagiarism, and it wouldn’t be acceptable for any student writing an essay in any Denver public school.
Butkovich says it was a mistake and blamed her “haste” in completing the questions during the height of a hectic campaign.
No doubt she has indeed been busy. And that certainly might explain the tendency to quote from others in fashioning answers. But to leave out quotation marks and attribution seven times?
Let’s just say the letters A through D do not apply to this performance.
