One person was killed and two others were injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 70.

A medical helicopter landed on the highway to take the crash victims to a hospital, said Trooper Nate Reid of the Colorado State Patrol.

The accident near Manilla was reported at 8:59 a.m., Reid said.

One of the two vehicles involved in the accident rolled, he said.

The westbound lanes of I-70 were closed for the investigation, Reid said.
