TAMPA, Fla. — On the heels of Tuesday’s 4-1 loss at the Florida Panthers, the 2-5-1 Avalanche declined to have a team skate Wednesday at Amalie Arena, where Colorado will visit the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday. Why cancel practice? .
