Denver police are investigating the death of a person whose body was discovered on the 1000 block of Broadway Wednesday morning.
It’s too early to know whether freezing temperatures had anything to do with the person’s death, said Lawrence Reyes, Denver police spokeswoman.
The body was discovered at 8:04 a.m. near a Sports Authority store.
Denver had for the first day of the season on Wednesday. The low temperature was 29 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
The name and gender of the victim have not been released.
