Interview with Amy Pfeifer, esthetician and massage therapist

Q: How did you get involved in this business?

A: Unhappy in corporate America, I went back to school to earn an associate’s degree in something I believed would be more interesting, and I fell in love with skin. After a few years with the sole focus on skin, I continued my education to incorporate massage therapy, which has been a great balance.

Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?

A: My first career was a tour in the United States Navy. From the Navy, I bring a high level of attention to detail. While in school, both my colleague, Lora LaGuardia, and I were the most dedicated and focused in our class. We are experienced, focused and dedicated to providing outstanding service customized for you.

Q: What do you like best about your line of work?

A: Helping people is the best part of what we do. From reducing skin cancer risks to simply helping someone feel better.

Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?

A: Getting our very new name, CopperLeaf Massage and Esthetics, out there among the many providing services like ours.

Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:

A: At CopperLeaf Massage and Esthetics, we also offer some energy work. From a simple chakra cleansing to guided meditation allowing you to peek at a past life. All while relaxing on top of a massage table.
