The and created a hole in ceiling of the Source artisan food market has been safely removed Thursday morning.

Two holes that resulted from the Wednesday incident in the adjacent Source building have not been repaired yet, said Melissa Taylor, spokeswoman for the Denver Fire Department.

Building engineers remain on scene to determine when businesses can reopen, Taylor said.

Marielle Huey, event director for the Source at 3300 block of Brighton Boulevard, said tenants are hoping to be able to provide dinner service today.

“It’s been an adventure,” Huey said.

A worker who was injured in the collapse received “bumps and bruises” and was released from the hospital on Wednesday, said Kyle Zeppelin of Zeppelin Development, which is building the Source Hotel near complex.
