Saturday. Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations are not difficult to find along the Front Range, given Colorado’s deep, historical ties with that nation, but none can match the overall draw of the Longmont Museum’s annual event. Its El Día de los Muertoscelebration, which returns from 11 a.m.- 3p.m. Oct. 31, typically draws around 3,000 attendees to experience live music and dancing, sugar skull decorating, traditional food, community altars, paper flower making, face painting, Lady Catrina and more. The event is part of a month-long Día de los Muertos exhibition at the Museum, which runs until Nov. 8 at 400 Quail Road in Longmont. Both events are free. 303-651-8374 or .
