An egret that was missing from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has been found, the zoo announced Thursday afternoon on Facebook.

The egret was missing for a day and a half after it “flew the coop” during a a high wind storm, the Colorado Springs zoo said.

“Thank you to everyone who reported sightings of our missing egret,” the zoo posted. “And a very big thank you to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort Colorado Springs who reported seeing our egret and for their understanding staff and guests while we took over part of their golf course and tennis courts today. We’re all happy to have our adventurous egret back!”
