1 Woman suspects illegal pot grow. On Oct. 11, a woman called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies to report that she suspected her neighbors were operating an illegal marijuana growing facility in the 2000 block of South Xenon Court in the Littleton area. The woman said renters moved in two months ago and the windows of the suspected home are always blacked out. She suspected the only lights she could see were some sort of grow lights.

2 “Kissable” lipgloss raises suspicions. A woman called deputies on Oct. 17 after a suspicious man called Dillard’s, 8501 W. Bowles Ave., in the Littleton area. The woman said the man asked for “kissable” lip gloss because he babysits a girl and constantly kisses her. The woman felt she should report the call, but had no ID.

3 Paintball hits house. On Oct. 14, a man called deputies to report that someone had shot a paintball at his house in the 10000 block of Half Moon Pass, Ken-Caryl. He said he had a running dispute with neighbors but had never seen any of them with a paintball gun.

4 Couple causes hotel disturbance. On Oct. 12, deputies responded to an argument between a couple at the Marriott Townplace Suites, 10902 W. Toller Drive in the Ken-Caryl area
. Officers spoke to the couple, who said they had been living in hotels and were homeless. They had argued at a gas station earlier over the man looking at another woman and his fiancee left the man there. After making his way to the hotel, they resumed the argument. The woman would not allow the man to stay in the room for the night.
