The on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” dominated prime-time television with a 14.3/22 overnight rating, a 25 percent increase over last year’s Week 8 SNF game between Green Bay and New Orleans (11.4/18).
The 14.3/22 overnight rating is the highest ever for SNF in six head-to-head telecasts on the same night as the World Series.
SNF, the leading prime-time show the last four years, is on pace to lead a fifth year. In each of the broadcast’s first nine games this season, the overnight rating has been 13.0 or higher, a first in the show’s 10-season history.
