A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of first degree murder in connection with a Halloween incident in an Aurora field.

Richard Alan Darling is being held at the Arapahoe County Jail without bond, according to an Aurora Police Department media release.

Police were to the 1000 block of I-225, to a field along Toll Gate Creek, and found a body.

The victim will be identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.

Police did not release a motive in the case, or whether Darling knew the victim.
