Denver-bred actor and comedian T.J. Miller (co-star of HBO’s “Silicon Valley”) wed longtime flame/friend Kate Gorney a couple months ago, but it wasn’t until today we were afforded a glimpse at the classy ceremony, which took place Sept. 6 at Denver Botanic Gardens, followed by a reception for the 125 guests and family at 1075 Humboldt, the former Colorado governor’s mansion (a.k.a. the “Sweet-Miller House,” according to Mary Voelz Chandler’s ).

You can read all the details , but here are a few that stuck out for us:

– Teej proposed to Kate in the sculpture garden at Denver Botanic Gardens, where they ended up tying the knot, and .

– The couple first danced not to some hipster-wedding favorite or classic romantic tune, but a remixed cover of Bryan Adams’ “Heaven.”

– Gorney’s signature drink, the tequila-based “Rose Petal Pistol,” was served in a squirt gun. T.J.’s (“The Circus Peanut”) was delivered in an old cologne bottle.

– T.J.’s buddy, former TBS late-night host and all-around swell guy Pete Holmes (a former High Plains Comedy Festival headliner) was one of the folks we recognized among the guest shots from photographer Ashley Sawtelle.
