A four-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in Denver left at least one person dead, officials said.
The accident happened late Friday night at Interstate 70 and Brighton Boulevard near the Globeville neighborhood, according to the Denver Police Department.
An unidentified number of people were taken to local hospitals after the crash, police said.
At 12:23 a.m. on Saturday, police said the accident was fatal.
Officers did not indicate how many people were killed or injured.
The road was opened again around 2 a.m.
