Getting your player ready...

The Republican candidates take the stage for the CNBC Republican Presidential debate held at the Coors Events Center at the University of Colorado, Boulder on Oct. 28 in Boulder. (RJ Sangosti, The Denver Post)

How should the future presidential debates be conducted? They should be on the major problems facing America: jobs; the economy; lack of cooperation between political parties; education; drugs; re-establishing respect for the United States as the good guys; corruption in government; and terrorism. A single subject for each debate. Ask the candidates about statements they have previously made on the picked subjects. Questions such as: How do you differ with President Obama on his handling of this subject? What would you do that he is not doing? Do you agree with any part of what he is doing? How would you get Congress to agree on your point of view? What compromises are you willing to make on your point of view to get passage?
