Minus captain Gabe Landeskog, the MacKinnon line had nine points, three apiece, and Matt Duchene had his second three-point game in his last three. Duchene has seven goals and 11 points in his last six games.
As a team, Colorado won three consecutive games for the first time this season, and first time since winning the last three of last season. The Avs never won four in a row in 2014-15.

The last time the Avs won three straight on the road was in 2013-14, between New Year’s eve and Jan. 4.
Reto Berra is the next-best thing since Calvin Pickard. In a growing sample size and with amazing consistency, Berra leads the NHL with a 1.50 goals-against average and .958 save percentage (minimum seven games). The Swiss goalie is bound to make his fifth consecutive start Tuesday at Toronto. Berra said he was moved from the pregame moment of silence and French national anthem at the Bell Centre. Switzerland is some 280 miles from France.
“Yes, of course. I was really touched. I still can’t believe what happened,” Berra said.
