Re: “Why I finally wrote a book,” Nov. 8 Mike Rosen column.

Mike Rosen speaks on-air during a 2003 broadcast on KOA radio. (Denver Post file)

Mike Rosen, in his column discussing his new book, was off base when he mentioned countering intellectually challenged left-wing relatives, or helping your kids resist indoctrination from liberal teachers. Why would any informed parent pay great gobs of money to send their kids to colleges, and at the same time tell them to ignore the college professors? Kids do their best to get good grades and compete with classmates; they cannot do it by ignoring the teachers. Those parents should encourage their kids to learn all they can, especially about history and science, in order to make sound decisions about life for themselves.

I would invite Rosen to re-evaluate where the truth lies, and who the radicals truly are.
