Guy Fieri, The Food Network star behind is bringing his culinary wild man act to Thanksgiving. Mabel, hide the turkey and cover the kids’ eyes!.
“Guy’s Big Bite: A Very Fieri Thanksgiving” premieres Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. on The Food Network.
Fieri is bringing in a crew to help him, including Aaron May, the Arizona-based chef-restaurateur whose holdings include , a popular spot in Fort Collins. May’s Phoenix holdings include The Yacht Club, Over Easy, and Goodwood Tavern.
In any event, May will team with chefs Duskie Estes, G. Garvin and Beau MacMillans for a Thanksgiving meal with a twist.
On the menu: Turchetta — his mix of turkey and porchetta, turkey meatballs with fire-roasted green chile, green cauliflower with bacon-brie sauce, roasted bone marrow with bacon marmalade, and for dessert, chocolate babka bread pudding.
No word on whether Fieri’s infamous Donkey Sauce will be on the table for the mashed potatoes…
