
Sun Country Airlines, a Minnesota-based carrier, announced Thursday it’s adding service to Denver International Airport.
The daily, nonstop service between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Denver is expected to begin May 2.
Current Sun Country pricing shows the flights between DIA and Minneapolis-St. Paul are running at $94 each way.
The route schedule, based on local times, includes a 10:20 a.m. departing flight from Minneapolis with an 11:25 a.m. arrival in Denver, and a 12:15 p.m. departure from Denver with an arrival of 3:10 p.m. in Minneapolis, Sun Country said.
The addition of Denver will bring service area to 35 destinations, according to the airline.
Sun Country’s arrival is the second new nonstop service announced Thursday at DIA.
Airport officials said early Thursday that in June.
