Broomfield, Colorado’s two-time Class 5A champion, finished No. 19 in the final USA Today/National Soccer Coaches Association of America Super 25 Boys soccer poll of the fall.
The poll was released on Tuesday.
The Eagles, under respected coach Jim Davidson, were 18-2 this season. Broomfield won the title by defeated Mountain Vista in the finale at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City earlier this month.
The poll had a tie for the top spot between parochial schools — St. Ignatius of Cleveland (22-0-1) and St. Benedict’s Prep of Newark, N.J. (18-0-0).
Broomfield was the only team from Colorado in the poll.
