1 Man suspects fraud. On Nov. 5, a man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies after he received a fraudulent call at his home in the 4000 block of South Robb Street in the Littleton area. The man said the caller stated that his credit card had been stolen and asked for private information. The man refused and made sure his accounts were in order.

2 Shoplifter sees deputry, drops goods.A deputy was flagged down Nov. 8 by workers at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 8501 W. Bowles Ave., in the Littleton area, after a woman reportedly shoplifted from the store. The deputy stopped the woman outside. She refused to let the officer look in her bag, but followed him back into the store. The manager said there was confusion and the woman left. The manager later said she dumped the shoplifted clothes after spying the deputy.

3 Threats exchanged over dog agitation.On Nov. 10, a man called deputies after a heated exchange with a neighbor he thought was purposely agitating his dog in the 8000 block of West Frost Place, Columbine (Littleton). The officer could not reach the neighbor and determined no crime had occurred.

4 Back windshield smashed. A woman called deputies on Nov. 8 after she found a grapefruit-sized hole in the back window of her car in the 10000 block of Trailrider Pass, Ken-Caryl.

5 Suspicious e-mails, calls reported. On Nov. 9, a woman called deputies to report e-mail and phone scams at her home in the 10000 block of West Hinsdale Drive, Ken-Caryl. The woman said the e-mails and calls demanded money that she purportedly owed and wanted the money sent to China.
