We would like to commend The Denver Post for running the “Whatap the Plan?” column in the Sunday business section. Itap proved to be a very helpful column for those of us who are contemplating retirement. We have followed the column for the past several months in hopes of clarifying our own retirement plan and finally contacted Pam Dumonceau and her associates in that regard.
The advice available is most welcome and quite helpful. We want to make others aware of this valuable resource that is available at their fingertips through this column.
For those of you contemplating retirement, you would do well to learn the difference between a financial adviser and a fiduciary agent. That distinction was carefully and correctly answered when we contacted Dumonceau and her associates.
