Through Dec. 23. Bing Crosby was the first to popularize Irving Berlin’s song “White Christmas,” both on record and in the 1942 film “Holiday Inn,” so it makes sense that he played the lead in the 1954 film version of “White Christmas,” which crystallized a certain nostalgic holiday atmosphere for countless Americans. The stage musical, which is based on the 1954 film, has a lot to live up to but also built-in advantages in its time-honored songs and scenarios. The Arvada Center’s Main Stage Theatre is running the live show through Dec. 23, with “audience-moderated talkbacks” Dec. 4 and 9. Various times at 6901 Wadsworth Blvd. Tickets: $53-$80.
