Then there was one.
The Carolina Panthers are the only undefeated team left after New England lost to the Broncos last Sunday.
Two showdowns between playoff contenders with winning records headline Week 13.
Minnesota tries to protect its home field and keep its NFC North lead with a dangerous Seattle team coming to town.
Sunday night, Colts quarterback Matt Hasselback will try to keep intact his perfect record as a starter this year against an explosive Pittsburgh offense.
New York Jets at New York Giants, 11 a.m. The battle of New York becomes key as both teams need a win to keep pace in the playoff conversation.
Arizona at St. Louis, 11 a.m. The Cardinals will be without running back Chris Johnson for at least the rest of the regular season. Can another running back step up or will quarterback Carson Palmer have to carry an even bigger load?
Atlanta at Tampa Bay, 11 a.m. The Falcons were 6-1 looking like serious contenders to challenge Carolina for the NFC South crown. They’ve now lost four straight and are in danger of missing the playoffs.
Seattle at Minnesota, 11 a.m. The Vikings, not the Packers, lead the NFC North and a win against the Seahawks would do a lot to help them gain respect as a true contender.
Houston at Buffalo, 11 a.m. The Texans are riding a four-game win streak and are now tied atop the AFC South. Houston defensive end J.J. Watt is once again terrorizing opposing quarterbacks with a league-leading 13.5 sacks.
Baltimore at Miami, 11 a.m. The loser of this matchup can likely kiss any faint playoff chance good-bye.
Cincinnati at Cleveland, 11 a.m., KDVR-31. The Browns can’t catch a break. They lost last Monday night on the classic blocked kick for six and now have Austin Davis starting at quarterback against the Bengals.
Jacksonville at Tennessee, 11 a.m. The Titans have lost 11 straight home games. Sunday against the Jaguars will be their best chance to end that streak this season.
San Francisco at Chicago, 11 a.m. The 49ers have a minus 119 point difference, the worst in the NFL. The Bears are thinking playoffs after knocking off Green Bay at Lambeau Field last week.
Kansas City at Oakland, 2:05 p.m. The Chiefs are 5-0 in their last five games with wins against Pittsburgh, Denver and Buffalo. Outside of Carolina, the Chiefs are the hottest team in the NFL.
Philadelphia at New England, 2:25 p.m., KDVR-31. A banged up Patriots team returns home without tight end Rob Gronkowski to face a team with a lot more questions than answers.
Carolina at New Orleans, 2:25 p.m. It’s time to start putting the 11-0 Panthers on undefeated watch. The Saints have the worst defense in the NFL. They give up nearly 31 points per game.
Dallas at Washington, 6:30 p.m. Monday, ESPN.
Even at 3-8, the Cowboys still have reason to believe a late hot streak could lead to a division crown. Ladies and gentlemen, your NFC East.
Game of the Week
Indianapolis at Pittsburgh, 6:30 p.m., KUSA-9.
Primetime fans will be robbed of Ben Roethlisberger vs. Andrew Luck, but the Colts haven’t been slouches without Luck. Hasselback is 4-0 in starts, while Luck is 2-5. Roethlisberger is expected to play after passing the concussion test. Big Ben threw for 456 yards against Seattle and he didn’t play on the last drive.
