Colorado is being considered as a possible host to a major undisclosed music festival according to an email from the Colorado Tourism department.
The event organizers are looking for a 400-acre plot to accommodate parking, camping and festival grounds for the 260,000 visitors the event is expected to attract over its four-day duration. Organizers are said to put a premium on natural spaces without city backdrops or man-made venues, but within three hours of Denver International Airport and close to hotels.
If Colorado is chosen as the home of the event, the festival would bring in an estimated $90 million.
