All of the law enforcement officers injured in the Planned Parenthood shootings in Colorado Springs have now been released from the hospital, authorities said Tuesday.
“All of them are still recovering from their injuries and will need time out of the public eye to do so,” according to an El Paso County Sheriff’s Office media release. ” We will not be identifying any of our injured law enforcement personnel at this time.”
The left three dead and nine hospitalized with gun shot wounds.
” We would like to extend our hope for a fast recovery to all of the victims injured in this tragic incident,” the release said.
Killed were University of Colorado at Colorado Springs police officer Officer Garrett Swasey, 44; Jennifer Markovsky, a 35-year-old mother of two; and Ke’Arre Stewart, 29, an Army veteran who served in Iraq and the father of two girls.
